Tristan Jalleh & Club Até - Healing Gardens of Bab
live art travel bursaries
Over Spring & Summer 2022, BUZZCUT have travel bursaries available for Live Artists & experimental performance makers in Scotland to go & visit brilliant Festivals & programmes and programmes from across the UK.
As we emerge back into in person gathering & live performances we want to give Scottish artists the opportunity to reconnect and be inspired by the brilliant exciting work happening across the country.
Bursaries of up to £350 are available which can cover:
Train travel within the UK or petrol costs
Accommodation
Per diems (£25 a day to spend on food)
Tickets
We anticipate the above budget is enough to cover a 1-3 day trip within the UK.
Access costs relating to travel can be covered additionally (such as a PA or if you require a specific type of accommodation that is more expensive than the available budget).
We have looked around for interesting programmes coming up, however if there is a festival or programme not on the list you can suggest it to be included. The suggested programmes must have more than one performance on, be based within the UK, and be categorised as Live Art or experimental performance.
Potential programmes (we will add more to this list as we hear about them):
**FULL / 2nd April / TIDING Festival - Folkestone
**FULL / 29 April - 1 May / Daughter Cups of The North - Isle of Mull
27 - 30 April / Live Collision International Festival - Dublin
29 April - 1 May / GIFT Festival - Gateshead
13 - 29th May / Mayfest - Bristol
27 - 28 May / Disrupt - Cambridge
9 - 18 June / Hidden Door - Edinburgh
